STEM excitement in Badger Class today! We were thrilled to welcome Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind into school for a handson STEM workshop all about wind power. Our Y5/6 Badger Class threw themselves into the activities with curiosity, teamwork, and brilliant scientific thinking. They explored how wind turbines work, experimented with designs, and asked some truly impressive questions. The visitors were full of praise for their enthusiasm and we couldn't agree more. A huge thank you to Outer Dowsing for inspiring our learners and bringing realworld engineering into the classroom. What a brilliant afternoon of discovery and innovation. Reception, Y1 and Y2 loved the first Farm School of the New Year. They looked after the animals, poo picked the field and had a great time exploring rainbows.

What an inspiring afternoon of learning we had today at Friskney All Saints C of E Primary School with children 'realising their gifts': Y5/6 were busy being artists - creating sculptures. Y3/4 were busy in PE - realising their gifts in gymnastics. Y1/2 were busy being artists as well except they had the paint out and were being impressionist painters. EYFS were have a great time exploring their outside area and all the frost. SENDHub were loving the water beads and developing their fine motor skills trying to pick them up in different ways - the spoon seemed easier than the tweezers! Phew! What a great afternoon! There is still time to come and see us before applications close for Reception class admissions for September. It was a real privilege to take the whole school to watch the pantomime at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness today. The children were a real credit to us all - so well behaved and full of Christmas excitement. Mrs Wood is fairly certain that there was a little scheming behind the scenes that led to her being called up on stage but was grateful to all the cheering from the Friskney children supporting her! www.friskneyprimary.co.uk #pantomime #friskneyprimary #laat #StrongerTogether

We are so proud of our KS2 children tonight. What an amazing carol concert. Their singing and readings were fabulous. More photos to follow but we wanted to post a video of the start of the concert. Thank you to the Church for providing refreshments and the most perfect setting for our concert. Join us back in church on Friday for our Christingle Service at 1.30pm. Everyone is welcome. www.friskneyprimary.co.uk #carolconcert #friskneyprimary #friskney #laat #StrongerTogether
